This is a poem I wrote
President of the world
If I was the president, just for a year,
I think I’d change the world.
I think I’d clean this giant sphere,
The truth I would unfurl;
I’d stop the wars and silly games,
And get to serious doing.
I’d give the poor my richest claims,
And stop the trouble brewing.
I’d give the homeless a place to stay,
And visit them right then.
The world’s armies I’d disarray,
And free all those in den.
I’d tell the world of Jesus Christ,
And of his wondrous love.
The whole world I’d have enticed,
About his wondrous love.
But what am I, I’m just a boy,
To tell my dream’s and thought.
But I know what I’ll do with joy,
I’ll tell them what God brought.
